I’m Cole, a filmmaker in the media team at Colchester United FC. Every film I make for the club is mine from start to finish. I plan it, direct it, shoot it on my own cinema kit and cut it for YouTube and social.
Character-led films that take supporters behind the scenes at Colchester United: the build-up, the players and the moments in between. Planned, directed, shot and edited by me.

Terry, Connolly and Lisbie on coming through the U’s academy and into the first team. Told through sit-down interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from training and matchday.
Live football doesn’t do second takes. On matchday I’m pitch-side with a full-frame Blackmagic 6K on long zooms, while two Insta360s and a GoPro pick up in-match angles from places a camera operator can’t stand. Then it all comes together in the multi-cam edit.

Alongside the video, I design a lot of the static artwork across the club’s channels in Photoshop: team graphics, matchday artwork and goal content for social. The films and the graphics speak the same language.
Everything I shoot with is my own film-grade equipment, and I take every project from the camera card to the final export.
